Malise is given one last chance to prove herself, or else, she'll be kicked out of her coven. And the world isn't safe for a witch on her own. Elvira hates witches and her only goal is to find a cure for her sister's magic. But when she gets put on trial for witchcraft herself, it changes everything she thought she knew. Enemies, and yet, they slowly find themselves bewitched by each other. This is my entry for the Open Novella Contest 2021, using the prompt: "On occasion, an accusation of witchcraft has the power to set one on a wonderful, dangerous path."

There is not just one princess in trouble in this Novella, but two. Both are in need of protection and only one can do the protecting. When Vondra meets the recently widowed Prince Sharzor, she finds herself disliking him and when they are together, she despises him all the more. For some reason, he seems to hate her and does his best to keep putting her in her 'place', believing she is either a servant or a crafty female criminal. But deeper emotions are at play in both of them and soon they will surface... This is to be a 'Novella', written for Wattpad's 2021 Open Novella Contest and is about the seventeen-year-old princess, Vondra, who appears like an upper-class servant, certainly not a royally titled young woman. She is on the run and has no idea where she is or where she is going. She whispers, "I'm in heap of trouble and there is no way on this earth that I will go back. I don't fully believe in God, but as a last resort before I find a high cliff to throw myself off, I will pray and ask for help to become the woman my grandfather taught me to be."- He had told her, 'You're a weapon and weapons don't weep.' At the same time she wished to fulfill her Grandmother's prayers that she would 'be a woman of great wisdom, care, love, faith, hope and peace. I have placed this novella in the category 'Romance' as there was no category for 'Action-Romance' - the main romance doesn't happen right way because of the prince's loss and princess being in such trouble, she can only think of herself, of escaping and finding a normal life away from the restrictions of royalty. When the romance begins in earnest, it is intense. Enjoy.

Lucius was raised to be great. An omen that coincided with his birth marked him as the one to end a reign of terror over the people of Fure. He was always destined to be a hero. But heroes aren't born. They're forged. On witnessing the brutal murder of a family member, Lucius swears to right the wrong done that day, and prevent the murderers from walking away unharmed as they have done so many times before. And so begins his journey as his destiny contends with his will, for his desire for revenge collides with the hero's path laid out for him. As a Coven Hunter, Roy knows that the All Seers have sunk their claws deep into the town, a fog permeating through like wispy tendrils. The fog clouds anyone's mind who enters, causing them to forget why they entered in the first place. Roy must find a way to prevent those controlling the All Seeing Eye from striking with their next attack, especially as it would be the one hundred and eleventh victim. There's an unspoken rule on the island of Norholm, whose shores are haunted by sea nymphs that dwell deep beneath the ocean and only surface twice a year when the moon glows blue. The rule is: don't bother the sea spirits, and they won't bother you. Fionn Miller is not the best at following rules. Especially when there's a mystery to be uncovered. However, this time when she was sent back to do her job, she found herself trapped in this world because of the system error that had occur during her time of duty a hundred years ago.

Harper Holland has started a Twitter account called All Things Breakfast. After several months of dedicated, daily posting, she is proud to say her account has forty-three whole followers, not counting her best friend Olivia. On one completely unremarkable morning, after she crafts an exceptionally beautiful post, she forgets to change from her hole-filled sweat pants into her jeans. But that's not going to ruin her day, right? Except it does, because crashing into a door and thoroughly embarrassing herself wouldn't be complete without an awkward encounter with the most beautiful man she had ever laid eyes on. If she'd known she was going to meet him, she would have been extra sure she was wearing nicer pants. And if she'd known all the trouble that morning tweet would cause, she probably wouldn't have posted that either. I mean, no one wants to start a coup with their breakfast tweets, right? The task is simple, but complex at the same time- they just have to infiltrate the Academy, where up and coming villains are trained. It would be pretty easy if it weren't for the fact that their hero descent was a huge problem. Eileen thinks it's no big deal, until they attend the Academy. In the three years since the dead started to walk, Kelly has been wandering the wasteland that used to be the United States. Jake is ready to hit the road after three years of trying to keep his family and friends safe and alive. Being alone will be a new experience for him. I love the Open Novella Contest for finding new stories by authors I've never met before and I'd love to share some authors with you that maybe you have never found before. This book will be slowly filled with authors and books of all genres and styles and places in the writing journey. I do believe every book in here has something special to be shared, and I hope the variety allows you to find some things you like. My intention is to keep this book updated with books currently updating, whether they remain in the contest or not, because I think the ultimate goal of having a complete story at the end is the most important part, regardless of the success in the judging rounds.
