See, to Echo, the name Margaux Valor always hinted at power, but not the type that she was cursed with. No, Echo's power is unlike any other's; the Magnificent North likes to think of her as The Daughter of Time. She could move through it, bend it, break it. Time obeyed her whims and feared her wrath. She could travel to the past. She could glimpse the future. She could rewrite both. But, the Magnificent North also likes to think of her as The Bride of Darkness because she is also a Vampire-Echo doesn't like this name. However, she doesn't thirst for blood like other vampires. No, she thirsts for time, and she can never seem to find enough of it to cure her hunger. This type of hunger makes Margaux a legend in her large world full of magic, dreams, and secrets. But it also makes her alone. Being alone and forgotten for thousands of years has served her well. But sometimes she misses simple, mortal pleasures like love. Echo learned long ago that she should never fall in love. The Daughter of Time can't allow herself to fall for fear of losing them. Or so she thought until she met another Fate, one who promised to never forget her.
