Based on BBC's Merlin, takes place post season 3 and leads in to season 4. Arthur Pendragon has been crowned King of Camelot as his father's condition worsens. His coronation is celebrated with a fortnight of festivities. Merlin shares some secrets and finds more acceptance than he thought was possible. His magic matures and he has trouble controlling it at times. After an unfortunate encounter with Slavers, Arthur has demanded that Merlin take part in a training regimen including swordsmanship and hand-to-hand. The Knights all know about Merlin's magic and have claimed him as their younger brother. Well. Except Gwaine, who wants more than friendship with the warlock.

Merlin always believe in destiny; he believe that Arthur is meant to be the Once and future king. He vowed to always be by Arthur's side. However the same doesn't go for Arthur, when he left Merlin alone in this cruel world. Merlin will wait. He will wait for his king to rise again. He need to be strong for Arthur. But for how long? This is a poem book showing Merlin's thoughts and feelings while waiting for his other half.

*Sequel Out now* Kilgharrah may have told Merlin that nothing he could do would save the Once and Future King, but that doesn't mean he was right. The warlock takes things into his own hands when he revives Arthur at Avalon, but there are consequences for breaking a destiny written before the time of men. Set just after season 5, Arthur slowly comes to grip with his friends' magic as they return back to Camelot, victorious from the battle of Camlan. Merlin tries his best to face his demons alone, but sometimes the constant pain, scars and tournament is not that easily overcome. The warlock faces his biggest trial yet... himself. Merlin thought he was doing the right thing. He thought telling Arthur that magic had no place in Camelot he'd be able to save his friend. When he sees the mistake he made, he leaves Camelot. Unable to handle the burden of the fate he'd condemned his friends to endure. Arthur, Gwen, Gaius, and the Knights of the Round Table seek out the Druids to find out everything they can about Merlin and his magic in hopes they can find their friend and bring him home. (Merlin left letters behind explaining why he had to leave. A majority of the story will be centered on everyone except Merlin as they learn about him and his sacrifices) Takes place after Season 5 episode 5, The Disir. AU / Canon Divergence

'Merlin: Albion's Greatest Time of Need' is an imagining of the events in the world of 'BBC Merlin' that takes place after the end of the series. Watch Merlin as others as they battle and fight in Albion's time of need. Follow the story with the return of the once and future king, and the new friendships the make along the way.

A very long time ago there was a beautiful island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, it was created at a time of magic and peace. Over the course of a few millennia this island has stood still as the world around it changed. It has been hundreds of years since Merlin has last seen Arthur Pendragon's smiling face. Over the latest millennia Merlin has hidden Camelot from the view of outsiders to preserve it's beauty and peace for when his friend is to arrive again in his time of need, after all, Arthur is the Once and Future king.

Merlin did what he has always done: protect Arthur. Now he's paying the price of his action. At first, no one thought anything was wrong with him. They never questioned his behavior, but as time passes, he isn't acting like his old self. He's running out of time. Merlin has always been the one protecting and saving others. Now it's his turn to be saved, but is he too far gone?

At the end of the book 1, When You Least Expect It, (which if you haven't read yet, go read it,) Arthur was killed in battle by Mordred. Now, in this modern AU 1000 years later, Arthur finally rises again. The only problem is, what about the prophecy? When Albion's need is greatest? What will happen when Merlin's world threatens to collapse, and Arthur's the only one able to stop it? What will happen to their future together? (I still don't own the characters or the book cover. Just the plot line.)

Gwaine sees Morgana on the street and instantly is drawn to her. Morgana also feels the same way once she has met Gwaine. Time and time again they run into each other, growing closer and closer. But with all the drama in Camelot the two of them have trouble being together... This is a rough rough draft :) I absolutely love Eoin Macken (Gwaine) and Kate MacGrath (Morgana) together. Magic reveal. Arthur doesn't quite believe that Will was the one who had magic, and isn't sure what to make of it. Merlin realizes that he is payed more than the average castle servant and asks why. The Once and Future King is back and he wants to go to an amusement park. Merlin is terrified of roller coasters, but of course he'll go, he'd follow Arthur anywhere.
