Three friends travel through time and space to learn about the nature of good and evil, human suffering, and contemporary Lutheran theology. Also, there's a sock puppet. A brief one-act play, suitable for most ages, written with performances at church events in mind.

"When the Levee Breaks" is a one-act play about a boy named Zeppelin Hanne. He suffers from sleep paralysis but has the ability to astral project and one fateful night, he witnesses his Chemistry teacher murder her husband. When he wakes up Zeppelin must face whether or not what he saw was real or a nightmare. Along the way, his rag-tag group of friends, the troubled Abner and the smart Charlie, work with him to try to pin Mrs. Crushnik for murder and stop her tyrannical reign once and for all. Throughout the play, Zepp must also deal with interacting with Subconscious, a reflection of himself who helps him make difficult decisions... when he's not causing trouble.

Four fresh-faced actors are given the roles of their lifetimes, but what happens when they are asked too much of themselves?

A one act play about our own perceptions of reality trough the character of Tessa, a girl on trial for the murder of her sister's abusive boyfriend. We are shown the difference between how we see people, rather than their truth. As the plot progresses Tessa starts to see facts that disprove her perceptions of what she believes as truth. This shatters her perceptions of people and who she thought they were. She sees how our perceptions of how we want things to be can cloud our judgement.

A pair of directors have to decide what the next play they are going to do at their theatre is going to be, but they struggle to find the "perfect play". While the plays are mentioned, actors will acct out scenes from said plays.

Griffin has struggled with bipolar disorder since middle school. It was always hard for him to keep his grades up, deal with his psychosis, and live a normal life. But he always had his twin brother, Sunny, to help him get through it all. But Griffin can't rely on Sunny forever. Will he be able to let his brother go?

This is the story of a woman who wants to film the experience she had as a child, which cost her trauma, and she wants the outcome of her film is to rise above poverty and achieve her dreams. .

*written as a script, still in progress* A short play about a young woman and a young man who are forced to co-exist in order to learn their life lessons. This was a class project that I plan to turn into a full length play eventually.

This is a one-act play about a wacky detective who goes undercover to expose a massive drug cartel but encounters a few more surprises than what he bargains for... I've left a lot of the staging up to directors and characterisation up to the cast because that's what I enjoy best about performing. It's a bit difficult to do all the scene changes so I would stage three separate scenes at the same time and get creative with lighting :) You can really have a lot of fun with different interpretations and character portrayal.
