Raven Kingsley is an ordinary girl who lives with her chickens, horse, and her crippled father. But, her life takes an unexpected turn when a witch visits her, revealing to her that her father was once the King and was overruled by the new Queen. Raven sets out to reclaim the throne for her father but is uncertain about who to trust - the witch or her father. After confronting the Queen and leaving, Raven meets the witch again and after shocking news, decides to embark on a new quest with the help of an aquantience (or maybe and friend?). Together, they retrieve the powerful object that can save the kingdom.
