This story follows 16-year old Maxine 'Max' Halstead who is the younger sister of Will and Jay Halstead. Being the youngest sibling, and the only daughter with two adult brothers who just happens to be a doctor and a cop isn't always so fun as a teenage girl. Oh, and also, both of her parents are dead. [This is a One Chicago fanfic] (Disclaimer: this is my first fanfic so it won't be perfect, but I'm doing my best) I'll update when I have time. A One Chicago fanfic revolving around intelligence, Chicago PD Mia Stone had been a part of the FBI for 3 years but after a near death experience and waking up to no one there for her she knew she could no longer stay in New York. New York contained to many bad memories for her about her childhood and now the near death experience. Soon after she got out of the hospital she landed a spot in intelligence in Chicago. Trauma and flashbacks keep haunting her even now that she is working in Chicago. Jay notices from the start something is up with Mia and wants to help her, but will Mia be able to finally open up to someone and let her past behind an focus on a future with someone that really cares?
