She was adopted by Schneider in an attempt to grasp some form of responsibility. Luckily for him, if he did end up messing it up, Yelena knew how to take care of herself. She matured at a very young age due to her traumatic childhood, including losing her mother, being sent to an orphanage, losing touch with her older sisters, and being abandoned by her father. To say Yelena had a rough life was an understatement. She didn't understand the importance of family. That was until she met her childhood best friend, Alex Alvarez. I didn't think that it was going to get any better. But little did I know, the Alvarez's were going to take me under their wing and show me what it's like to have a real family. Plus I might've met my true love along the way.
