He was visibly shaking by this point, his white tee shirt sticking to his torso, hair damp with sweat. He was truly and utterly terrified. My jaw locked tighter at his cowardly words, scoffing. “In our world there is not room for your fear. If i do not kill you now, someone else will only do it later.” I spoke, my voice ringing out clear in the darkening forest. A shadow of terror crossed his features. I pulled the trigger.
