Chapter 1: My Goal To be yourself means to be unique. Make a difference in the world so someone remembers you and how you changed the lives of many people. That's my main goal. I try to help the world around me and share my love with the people who have been by my side since day one. Here's the thing, being a 25 year old girl absolutely sucks sometimes. However it has it's advantages. I'm different from many of the people in my life and around me. I have a massive brain tumor that won't leave me the hell alone! The only cure is to have a procedure done that will erase my memory and I will start all over again. I have a husband, and I don't want to leave my life behind, but it's what I have to do to save my life. Anyway that's not the point of this story, I am writing this as my life experience of what I have been going through. Throughout this whole book I will be sharing my story about the painful life I once had to live.

Let me say it in advance that this book does not aim in any way at defaming or denigrating any group of people, or anyone in particular, but is a means of spreading awareness about Albinism as well as exposing the stupid misconceptions that surround the condition. If this book impacts someone for the better, if its message makes the world a slightly better place, then I will feel as if I've done what I came here for.

This is just a quick little idea I got from the song Sun is Shining by Bob Marley. I don't know much about Jamaican culture so I hope nothing in here is disrespectful. Most things/dialogue comes directly from the movie just to make sure I'm getting things like the dialect correct. Also, like my Elvis content, this fanfic derives from the biopic and has little correlation to the actual musician nor the actual actor, but rather the character that both come together to create.
