hey, this is the first thing i've ever published on here! basically this is a short poem about my experience at the Dangerous Woman Tour Manchester on 22nd May 2017 when the attack happened as you may know. poetry was the only thing that i could put my feelings into, so here it is. this is a poem called 'Impavid' meaning 'fearless' i hope you enjoy x

I lost my internet friend in Manchester attack 💔 She's a real angel now.

Just after all the events of last night...i dont know. Maybe this should be revised to events of the past month... I wrote this as a one shot but I felt I couldn't not write about London. It horrifies me, that so soon after heartbreak we are once again there. In honesty I just want to spread a hint of positivity in the face of this this pain and destruction.

I've just watched One Love Manchester - a concert facilitating the strength and courage in unity and togetherness, the very opposite of what the Manchester bomber and culprits behind it wanted to achieve on 22nd May 2017. I wrote this poem about the magic of live music a few years ago but it resonated with me after watching the gig, the true resilience of humanity and the ability of humans to bounce back in style and look out for one another.
