The old adage, don't judge a book by its cover has never been more appropriate. Ricky comes to learn that Feral is a one-of-a-kind creature and Feral learns Ricky is not quirky and anything but average. Ricky is autistic. They find, despite being classified as 'different' by others, they have a lot more in common than they could ever have dreamed! What makes them oddities in their everyday lives makes them best friends in Durango! Bloodfang has it all! There is emotional bonding, teenage angst, animal-human communication and vampires! Bloodfang is a must read fantasy book that takes make-believe and intertwines it with real issues of this generation.
