My first released one-off short story! Morgan is on vacation in a national park when a newspaper clipping catches her interest. A missing girl article from this exact area- and Morgan knows something.

What do you do when you sense that something is coming? When you feel that if you don't complete your mission that a horrid tragedy will come to harm all that you love and hold dear? You keep walking.

This is a scene from a story I was challenged to write a few years ago, which is still unfinished, and I don't know whether it ever will be, after showing a writing prompt to my friends and asking them for suggestions. The protagonist, Duchesse Nicole, (inspired by my friend Nicole) is the sole person left in her kingdom when the evil sorcerer-king of a nearby kingdom removes all the people, including the royalty and nobility, through sorcery, because he thought he could manipulate her to get what he wanted (control of the kingdom), and then goes on a quest/journey to get the people back and to defeat the Evil King, along with her highly unusual pet meerkat, Jem (unusual because he has recently become able to speak, and often shows signs of being rather human). This scene takes place in the middle-ish of the story, in the Reverse Wasteland, a nightmarish obstacle created by the Evil King to slow them, as whatever has been changing Jem comes to fruition.

These are just a bunch of short stories that I have written either in my spare time or within lesson times in school. I thought that it would be a good memory to look back on in a few years to a collection of short written stories as well as my other longer stories which I am currently working on and will hopefully upload soon! Please enjoy and I would be more that happy to do a collab book on one of these if any of you would like to carry these on-just notify me before hand because I do not want to have to go through the trouble of copyright etc- you get the idea? A middle-aged man lives a lonely life in an alternate universe where he dies every night and is resurrected the next morning. When Carmen Sandiego runs a job to stop a large shipment of drugs from entering a small southern town in the U.S.A., she finds herself face to face with a masked figure already on the job. While dealing with VILE agents, she finds herself face to face with a vigilante who works with the same goals but with a wildly differing ideology. This takes place between seasons 2 and 3 of Carmen Sanidego. I tried to write it for fun as a darker than normal episode of the show and to test the waters for the reception of a darker story involving Carmen as well as advertising the preview of Alone, which the character Richard who appears in this story is from. This is a one off for my friend grace...my god what am I doing with my life

Just a simple goodbye to a close friend.

A very short piece of flash fiction about a young couple underneath a maple tree. This is a feel-good piece as the pair struggles with communication. This flash fiction is an experimental piece written with the rule to avoid telling and to focus completely on body language to convey whatever emotions the characters are feeling.

A mix of one shot stories that consist of either my OCs or characters from a fandom. Warnings and notes will be at the start of each story. Somethings with my OCs will be cannon and some things won't.

This is a simple short story (about 1500 words). I have been in the outlining stage for my novel the past few months, and I needed to brush the dust off my writing skills and did a character exploration exercise. *This piece is just writing practice and will not be part of the actual book.* This story features my main character, Evie, going about her business, but I'm excited for you to meet her nonetheless. Hang out with us while Evie makes coffee and paints. Like I said, I am trying to refine my writing skills so please leave constructive feedback. This probably needs one more draft before I call it complete so tell me what you honestly like and don't like. Also, I have always used past tense when writing, but I want to use present tense in this novel, so please let me know if I accidentally left something is in the wrong tense during editing.
