Yanyanirism
Everyone in high school called Daniel Swift "too much."
Too dramatic, too sparkly, too handsome for his own good.
And maybe he was-until the day he stood up for me in the cafeteria and declared me his darling.
From then on, we were inseparable: besties, gossip partners, partners in crime.
He was glitter, I was grounding. He swooned, I rolled my eyes, and everyone assumed that was all we'd ever be.
Daniel Swift has always been my best friend-
my fiercest defender, my loudest cheerleader, my "gayest" partner in crime.
But here's the thing about Daniel:
he's never been just anything.
And somewhere between high school hallways and late-night movie marathons, something changed.
The question is... what happens when best friends stop pretending?
