Coco wakes beneath a storm that never ends. Lost in a forest of whispering trees, she is rescued by a luminous Prince, who brings her to the shining city of Lumenstad-a place of golden streets, perfect citizens, and a life where Coco is adored as the city's famed Illustrious Lady. But the Prince warns her of one thing above all: Never go beyond the trees. Beyond the forest lies a forsaken land, an infernal evil, and a truth that no one in Lumenstad dares to discover. Yet when the Prince vanishes into the forbidden woods, Coco cannot ignore the pull of the darkness and the viscousness that awaits her there. She must chase after the Prince.

A growing collection of short stories inspired by Studio Massa's Ongezellig. While the series focuses on the three main protagonists Maya, Mymy, and Coco, the background characters from the original series also play a major role and in some stories they themselves are the protagonists. Our main heroes have to fight against the harshness and sometimes the absurdity of our world.
