Long ago, a forbidden gateway was opened, releasing an ancient demonic aura that forever changed the world. Cities survived-but not unchanged. After completing the space bridge, Onix and Blitzwing are sucked into an alternate dimension after an interference with the space bridge field. In this dimension, what was once good is now evil, and that which was bright is now dark. This, is the Shattered-Glass dimension.
