When Oompa Loompas are born they are sorted into two categories, Orange and Purple, by the Elders. Oranges are supposed to the kind and talented Loompas. The Purples are supposed to be bad Loompas. Oranges get better treatment and privileges. But at the chocolate factory the Elders magic is not as good. This makes the categories mixed up. When twelve year old Purple, Olive, is chosen for a special privilege by Wonka, things change. As with all my books, The Good Place swears are subs for actual ones.

Miles is a teenager haunted by his past. Lizzy is a lonely young woman raising her adopted son, Calvin. The War that started four years ago when the Oompa Loompas overthrew their unjust master, Willy Wonka, and poisoned the beloved chocolate, killing thousands, is finally over. Will things ever be normal again? Will Miles find his place in the world? Will Lizzy find love? Or is Miles just another orphan boy misplaced by war....
