Chuuya felt that waking up was similar to a cruel reality check. But every time he sees him happy around the members of Scepter 4, every time he directs them exactly the same funny and educated smile that marks itself day by day more in his features, every time he turns towards them because the fact that Yata is there in front isn't interesting enough ... Well. Yata Misaki is increasingly angrier with everyone. Especially with certain Monkey Bastard that every time forgets him more and more.

The long war between the muggles and the sorceresses had ended, but the grudge is still breathing. The prodigal son is returning home, only to try to destroy it again.

He knows he can't keep up this charade for much longer because it's started impacting his work; that, as a whole, is more important than some bullshit like his general health. -|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|- Carmy already has bad eating habits in the show, for lack of a better word. "'Bout time we head back to the lander," Seonghwa suggests, continuing to record the data the rover's camera caught without as much as a glance in his direction. Hongjoong laughs, "Oh c'mon Seonghwa, just a few more klicks," he spares a glance at the rear view mirror, noting how the older immediately meets his eyes, "This is our closest pass to Daedalus Patera!" The older, worried as always doesn't hesitate to refute, "Hongjoong, we're already way past the rover's operational limits, you know that-" "-Look, how about this?" Hongjoong cuts in before he could get lectured for the fifth time in the trip, "We just drop a sensor package, grab a few pics, and then we're gone, okay?" Seonghwa merely shakes his head fondly at the other's shenanigans, returning his focus back to the screen before him. Hongjoong doesn't resist the smile that blooms on his face the way Seonghwa does when they both know he'd won the argument; as usual. ____________ or: A simple mission gone wrong leaves Hongjoong struggling to make it to the end. That's when things take a different turn, maybe for the worse.
