Just a collection of little free writes I've done recently or in the past, relating to my life, sorted chronologically by what time they relate to. Some are poems, others are more like open letters, and most of them reference one another in some way. More to come whenever I feel one isn't horrible. Enjoy this grab bag of tangled, rambling ideas! *Trigger warning* For those with anxiety or a past of mental and/or physical abuse, some of this may be triggering for you.

A wish so close, yet never fulfilled. In a world full of choices and chances, this is the story of one wish that remained incomplete - but became unforgettable. It's a tale of love, longing, and the haunting beauty of what could have been. Because not every ending needs closure - some just need to be felt. She believed some wishes were meant to come true. But hers stayed incomplete... yet unforgettable. Their story wasn't built on perfect moments - it was woven through stolen glances, quiet dreams, and one goodbye she wasn't ready to accept. She heard the words, watched him walk away... but her heart stayed frozen in that moment. "My Favourite Incomplete Wish" is a story of love that arrived too early - or maybe too late. A story of holding on, letting go, and finding strength in the silence of unfinished endings. Will she ever find peace... or was the wish never meant to be fulfilled?

In short, our concern for the World, where we see the division taking place, even when fighting an illness. The arrogance comes to life over the heads of people whose hope and wish is to just stay healthy. The different approach to the spread of the new coronavirus, now also landed in Dutchland, gives the impression to ordinary people there is more to worry about, than what is told by our officials. The Dutch approach differs from other countries. People who have symptoms are the only ones who are isolated, and testing only occurs when symptoms are apparent. It all seems very counter intuitive, especially where we talk about a virulent outbreak. Let's hope it will work, but also leave no room for excuses when the officials fuck this up.

"Lost in Nostalgia" A melancholic symphony of love and loss, woven with the ache of unspoken longing. It tells the tale of a friendship that once brought light, only to fade into the shadows of unrequited love. Time moves forward, but the echoes of what once was still linger, whispering in the quiet spaces of memory. Despite the pain, hope remains a fragile wish for the past to return, even as it slips further away. Originally written on December 10, 2015, as "Nostalgia" Revised on February 20, 2025.
