He came from a long family of mighty warriors and was next in line to take his place serving under King Brindim as one of his loyal soldiers. That all changed in one night Now he finds himself in the wilds with only his unborn egg sibling to keep him company. He can't return home, at least not now... Not while he's being hunted... by someone he once considered family... Update: I did not make it past round 1 of Open Novella so if you're here because it's a tag, please keep this in mind so this story will probably be not as good. You have been warned please do not criticise me, I entered out of pure boredom and clearly some people didn't like what I wrote. Enjoy!

The war against vampires and the disease that creates them is unlike any other humanity has ever faced. With one bite, people are transformed into enemy combatants. No matter how loyal, how well-trained, or how disciplined someone is, the result is always the same. Each person is plundered for information, then pleasure, and then fed back into the conflict to destroy everything they value. Sergeant Wren Horan leads a squad whose sole purpose is to find and kill such vampires. On one fateful mission, she encounters more than a group of fledglings. She walks into a massacre and faces what she fears most: turning. But when she wakes up, it's not as a mindless fledgling. It's as something else entirely.

ONC Prompt 5 My cat likes leaving the house every morning at the same time. When this little habit of his causes me to burn my breakfast, I use his tracking collar to follow him on a whim, while searching for a decent cafe. My mind and body start to warp, as I find him and some other neighborhood cats at the back of an alley, in a small patch of grass, meowing in symphony. When I wake up from what I thought was a massive hangover, I find I am actually in what turns out to be my cats secret home world. Filled with magic instead of milk bowls. Lances instead of litterboxes. Monsters rather than meow-mix. What I thought would be another day at work, turns out to be a fight against evil that our cat friends have secretly been waging for centuries. (This is a bit of a tribute story to my cat who went out one day and never came home)

Something as simple as wishing for a second chance to confess to one's first crush should result in ending up in the world of Harry Potter, but that is indeed what happened to Eugene. Unfortunately, this also means the girl who bullied his crush has a second chance at that as well. Lyra, on the other hand, is starting a new life with her family while dealing with unfounded allegations regarding her new family having unsavory ulterior motives. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is one of my ONC projects for 2024 which is also a sequel to a project from 2021 that may need a bit of editing, yet this should also stand on it's own - aka be able to be read on it's own. The prompt I am using is prompt fifty-nine "Reincarnating into your favourite story wasn't what you had in mind when begging for a second chance.". I am also utilizing prompt sixty-five, "she realized that whenever she let her body fall slowly to the bed, the bed sank and became a portal to another world as a side prompt.

Ayumu isn't coping well with her injury and getting back on the track, so she writes a fanfic for a work they're reading in class. Disclaimer - I don't own Japan Sinks. This is written for Froday Amnesty, prompt 12.03, Under Pressure. This is also a one-shot based on an ONC 2026 prompt, prompt 30. "You return to the sport you love after an injury. You are determined to overcome not just your rivals but also your fears. ou are determined to overcome not just your rivals but also your fears Also of important note, the Japan Sinks: 2020 adaption read like a poorly written fanfic of the original source material, but given the Mutoh family was added in, and Ayumu's attitude problems many who've seen the series have noted her having, it made sense it was a fanfic written by her.

I'm also using ONC 2026 prompt 39, "After being cursed, you go from being the most popular socialite to becoming a nobody."

However, they come to a terrible discovery that being underground is no safer than being on the surface.

It only takes 2.4 seconds for a radio wave to reach the moon. After 4.5 hours, the wave reaches Pluto; by then we'd already lost Seattle. The Fire Nation understands the need for a male heir to Crown Prince Iroh after the death of his son Lu Ten, yet they're far from thrilled with the choice being Prince Zuko, the son of the man who tried killing Fire Lord Azulon, forgetting the boy's father tried killing the young prince as he might be just as unhinged as not only his father but his own sister. Disclaimer - I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender. This was written for Open Novella 2024 and is a giftfic for my friend Kelsey; it's also an alternative universe to my fanfic series To Lose or To Gain where the Fire Nation doesn't know how unhinged Ozai is and instead thinks he willingly gave his first-born son to his older brother. As for the prompt, I'm using prompt ninty-nine which resulted in this AU popping into my head, "The royal family needs a male heir to the throne, and they're willing to accept any boy, even if he's born to their least hinged relative."

Ryo stopped appearing in Japan or anywhere else as the pop idol Doragonhanata, but decides to return when the world learns upon Sam's return of the Galra threat to help boost morale. He finds himself met with questions regarding why he disappeared from the public eye. One of the sisters of the missing cadets, Rachel, personally doubts his motivations, yet feels he wouldn't understand how she feels about having a family somewhere in the universe fighting the Galra. Timballisto struggles with the scattered pieces of Martin's memory the best he can, telling Martin the past doesn't matter. Yet, in saying so he doesn't know how much the past does matter, particularly when illness befalls those helping to build Redwall, which will eventually become a safe haven for many. This is written for ONC 2022, but the prompt I picked for this was prompt was number seventy, "His eyes were cold and lifeless as he stared at me. 'You have no idea who I am, do you?'."

When he was sixteen, Lu Ten thought the Fire Nation would change the world. At age thirty, he realized it wasn't the world that needed changing, right at the same time some of his not so clever life choices started catching up to him. It was time to become wise, like someone he greatly admired, even if he couldn't do anything with said wisdom. Disclaimer - I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender. This is both a giftfic for a good friend of mine, KelseyAlicia who encouraged me to go the route of Lu Ten/Ursa in my To Lose or to Gain series, but also an ONC project. While parts of this story arc are AU to where I intend on taking the To Lose or to Gain series others are not. Where I brainstorm off old and new ONC prompts utilizing various fandom, I'm familiar with to give an idea of how to use prompts during ONC, and figure out the ins and outs of brainstorming for ONC.
