This is a collection of short stories that can be read individually or as a series. They are connected by the characters and the timeline. Tony Aardehuis is a young OPP constable in rural Eastern Ontario. He was an eastern ontario farmboy who joined the OPP after stints as a dairyman, typing teacher and farm implement salesman. These stories are all connected through his friends, acquaintances and family. He is of Dutch descent but the community he lives and works in includes a wide variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Unlike big city police work, Tony must deal with neighbours and people in the community he knows well and he encounters mysteries and situations that reveal aspects of life that can be personal and revealing of the human condition.
