Jef's mother has always been a kind-hearted, generous woman, always willing to help people as much as she can, so when she heard that there was a foreign, orphaned boy coming to town with nowhere to stay, she was eager to let him stay in her home. This boy was the same age as Jef, and would be going to the same school as him, so it won't be a bother for Jef, right? Of course not! Besides, Jef was just as excited to make a new friend as his mother was to help the poor boy out. However, the boy doesn't speak English very well, and has a very secretive demeanour. Will this get in the way of Jef's plan to make a new friend?

Zak has always been seen as the weird and quiet kid in school, making him a prime target for bullying. He never spoke up, his friends having to defend him. One day, his friends dared him to do a ritual to summon a demon to protect him. Zak hesitantly agreed, what could possibly go wrong? There was no way demons were real! right?
