Rex longs to see and learn all the different types of magic in the world and become the strong wizard while at the same time dreams of mastering his sword techniques using the Soul Blade style. A young teenage girl, haunted by the memories of her father's execution, attempts to escape a cruel regime by night. All these characters capture the essence of what it's like to be disempowered and cruelly dehumanised at the hands of a heinous, corrupt power. Innocent lives lost, lovers die and patriotism is like a freshly baked bread that can hide it's aroma, are they fighting a lost cause or will their deaths be in vain , will their future plans become reality of a Nation truly bound by freedom , peace and unity .

It's about opposing what's popular, but untrue, this I call mature foolishness. what's widely accepted but inhumane, what's 'Government' but oppression! A rebel must learn and unlearn, a rebel doesn't backtrack. Being a rebel comes with a heart of resilience to fight for WHATEVER you want.

This is a collection of poetry that I submitted to Button Poetry's 2018 Chapbook Contest. It focuses on gender inequality, the oppression of females, and the struggle for women to break the wall built between them and men to keep them below.

A boy who only knows darkness. A girl trapped in a world of lies. A leader running from his past. A post-apocalyptic world tumbling into chaos. During the after-math of an unknown war involving the entire world, in a land corrupted by the filth of man and the dark, disturbing infected, these three heroes search for the fleeting sanctuary and a cure that has already taken so much from them. But how will they fight through the hordes of mindless husks and the throngs of malicious humans as they are caught in a bloody civil war between an evil government and a pain-driven resistance? How will they uncover the secrets of the disease and bring together these two factions in one last attempt to save humanity from extinction? Will they find the Oasis, or will they discover that the only sanctuary is death itself? Whatever the answer may be, one thing is for certain; this is no longer the world we knew.

Follow along as these 4 meet, form a secret poets society, and discover themselves. All whole fighting the tyrants of their world who fight everyday to keep teens like themselves oppressed. Will they win out in the end and be allowed to possessive creative articles again, or will they all be killed by the Makers of society who force their laws and rules upon them.
