"What happened? Where am I?" At that question, the man's expression changed from a beautiful calm to one of pure hatred. "You were attacked by rogues," he lowly growled almost animalisticly. "They hurt you and they paid. Dearly." He said as he narrowed his eyes at the wall the was just beyond my face. "You mean those wolves..." I trailed off unable to finish the only thought that was in my mind as pictures of the man and what he did to me flashed in my head like lightening. I slowly brought a hand to my face and felt the mark-the scar that'll forever plague my face, causing tears to well up in my eyes. "They won't hurt you anymore. I promise," the man said, seeing my mood change, as he cupped my face with his big hand, causing spine-tingling sparks to erupt everywhere. I relaxed into his touch as a sigh pushed past my lips. "What's your name?" "Austin," I immediately responded. "Austin," he whispered, exercising my name on his lips as he ran his thumb down my jaw, causing a million more of the addictive sparks to return.
