Peter Parker was at his all-time lowest, after the event where he tried to save Mj in the other universe, but was heartbroken when she decided to dump him for Paul. If that wasn't the worst thing, then the time when Doc Octopus decided to take over his body and made his life even worse. Unable to face his old friends, family, and some of his students, he taught turn their back on him.
