A bunch of one shots of our favorite kotlc characters and ships. Some contain fluff, some angst, and some are just weird. All characters belong to the lovely Shannon Messenger and the kotlc franchise.

Sophie Foster has always prioritized saving the world over her own desires, but when she shares a kiss with Keefe, it stirs something she never got with Fitz. Even though they're no longer together, the door between them was never fully closed-just paused. But what if that kiss with Keefe is just a spark she never got to experience with Fitz? Just as she's spiralling with that the Neverseen is fearless as ever, trying to hurt more people she loves, and Blackswan is slowly involving the squad more but are still super vauge and Sophie starts to think they may not have a plan they say they do ... Secrets will be revealed, betrayals will be anticipated, friendships will either break or join like never before... Unexpected allies and many mistakes realized... Nothing, nothing, is as it used to be. And... He will show up! Someone will joins the Neverseen willingly. Nothing they knew is true anymore, it may never be.

Oralie Lindser, an Empath, is from a long line of Emissaries and Regents, on both her mother and father's sides. She's hiding a secret - she's asexual and aromantic, meaning she feels no sexual or romantic attraction at all. In other words, if she marries, it will be forced, and she will continue to rebel against her husband if she gets married. She sees two options - death and becoming a Councillor, which means marriage would be forbidden. If she died, her family would be angrier than if she rebelled against the marriage her family would force upon her. So she joins the Council. It's there that she meets Kenric Fathdon, a Telepath instantly attracted to her. The feeling is not mutual, though - she tries to tell him she doesn't like him, but he continues to ask her if she would step down from the Council and marry him. She tells him no, but he persists until the pressuring becomes forcing her... She catches wind of an illegal rebellion group - the Black Swan - and is interested. The Black Swan needs a female in order to create a fetus so that they can alter the genetics of the unborn child - the Moonlark - to give the Moonlark abilities so they can defeat another group, called the Neverseen... Oralie volunteers, and by agreeing to this, she is unknowingly shaking the foundation of the entire Elvin society. ~ A Keeper of the Lost Cities fanfiction, Perfect How I Am depicts the struggle of an aro/ace young elf in the homophobic Elvin world of the Lost Cities. The author has taken advice from real aroace folks, and incorporated it into this story.

"You are a freak!" the words of her ex-boyfriend, Fitz. "Stop trying to replace Jolie! We will never love you as much!" Edaline and Grady had no idea how hard those words had hit her that day they had gotten into an argument. "I'm sorry Sophie, you make too many mistakes. THESE ARE SHANNON MESSENGERS PEOPLE NOT MINE. Check out Keeper of The Lost Cities, it is my favorite series of books at all times. Anyway, onto the story. This is my first story... So I don't know how it's going to turn out. This book is about Kenric and Oralie's lives were when they attended to Foxfire, and how they feel about there friend (or is it just friends) relationship. And later on in the book they will find out their purpose aka heritage.

Oralie had a secret. Not one that she had told anyone. She caused his death. Just like her parents. It was all her fault. She knew the guilt was breaking her. But a walk down memory lane, might have been just what she needed. *so basically it's about Oralie' connection with Kenric's death and how and why she caused it, it's all written to be from the different times she experienced death* includes legacy spoilers starting on the 8th part, so you can read the first 7 parts <3 after that, it includes spoilers! kotlc fan fic! (based off a kind of theory of mine) some of these characters aren't mine, they belong to Shannon Messenger, but I've made up a couple characters too. OK OK, SO I GET HOW THIS SOUNDS KINDA RIDICULOUS ON HOW SHE CAUSED KENRIC'S DEATH BUT HEAR ME OUT. ⚠️lodestar spoilers⚠️ so if you've noticed, whenever the death of an 'important good guy' character happens, ORALIE IS THERE. Forkle's death and Kenric's, (I think even calla, but calla was self sacrifice) JUST THINK ABOUT IT. so this led to this little story, and I just made up a little backstory. I'm also going to be covering Forkle's death a bit, so be ready for revisiting the death of all your favourite characters! -started: February 28- -finished: April 22- *I might do some editing, but for now I'm leaving it*

She's best friends with the last of the alicorns and regularly helps feed a giant T-Rex named Verdi. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. But every now and then, something REALLY unexpected happens. See? A weird life.
