"Are you really looking for our dad Boots..?" Mist asks softly as she tilts her head, her ears flicking slightly. "I have to. I need to know why I'm different from the others.." Boots says as she looks at Mist with a small sigh. Mist lowers her tail and ears as she looks at her sister. "But what about me and mom?" she asks as she looks at Boots sadly. "You'll be okay, you both have each other." Boots says softly. "Besides you still have us." One of the chickens says as she was walking past the two kittens. "See you'll be okay." Boots says with a small smile. ---------------------------------------- When an orange kitten named Boots decides to go on an adventure to go and find her father and makes unlikely alliances with a mouse and a bird, she soon becomes even more strange to her siblings. Will Boots find her father and find out why she's so different or will she never find out the secret behind why she is orange?

Niektóre melodie potrzebują ciszy, żeby wybrzmieć. Po przeprowadzce z małego Harborview do tętniącego muzyką Nashville Dannleya Kellsey chciała tylko jednego: zacząć od nowa. Nie planowała nowych przyjaźni. Nie planowała zespołu. I zdecydowanie nie planowała chłopaka, który częściej milczy, niż mówi. Gdy przypadkowe spotkanie prowadzi ją do The Blue Note, a kolejne deszczowe wieczory splatają jej życie z grupą młodych muzyków, Dannleya staje przed czymś, przed czym uciekała od lat. Własnym głosem. W mieście, które nigdy nie zasypia, i wśród ludzi, którzy uczą ją, że cisza nie zawsze oznacza samotność, będzie musiała zdecydować, czy odważy się zagrać własną melodię. Bo czasem jedynym świadkiem naszych marzeń jest deszcz.
