But with both end of year finals and their final high school concert approaching, pressure is on for Sebastian. Will he achieve all his hopes and dreams? Time will only tell.

A practical guide to induce emotions and dynamics in your music! Although mostly about orchestral instruments, these techniques also work with electronic sounds used as alternatives to the orchestra. Inside are also mentions of how to use chords, which I feel is the easiest way to start inducing emotions.

Vienna Kaufman is your typical overachiever; straight A's, all-state violinist, and president of the Yearbook club. With her heart set on Yale, there is absolutely nothing she would let sway her from her path. Blake Stone is nothing short of perfect; stellar grades, star soccer player, and Claremont High's hottest junior. To Vienna, he's an insufferable, arrogant asshole who needs to take a break from one-upping her and focus on his on-and-off girlfriend. When Vienna can't get her ex to stay her ex and Blake needs to make his situationship jealous, they hatch a plan so they can both get what they want. There's just one issue though: they can't stand each other. From bickering in the halls to late night calls, Vienna and Blake realize that maybe the other isn't as intolerable as they thought. As time passes, the line between pretend and reality begins to blur, and they struggle to discern what's fake and what's not. Will they both get what they wanted, or have their goals changed?

In June 2020, Madison Yang-a 17-year-old swimmer and orchestra student at Syosset High School-lives a life built on rhythm: early practices, crowded hallways, late-night texts with friends, and the steady comfort of water. Alongside her best friends and teammates Sasha and Natalie, Madison believes her world is predictable, even when the outside news feels heavy and uncertain. But as seasons pass from Halloween lights to championship nerves, from winter city streets to spring protests, everything begins to shift. And when a long-awaited trip to Cape Town, South Africa turns into something unthinkable, Madison and her friends must rely on instinct, loyalty, and the one thing that has always kept them alive: motion. They will run, hide, fight to stay quiet... and ultimately chase the ocean toward escape-toward Mauritius, and then a faraway life still filled with sound: Melbourne, Australia.

"Do you like music?" You swallowed. Strangely enough, you found it hard forming words when you had seven pairs of eyes trained on you. Especially when each stare seemed a little more intense than the last. "I - yes," you managed to stammer out. The blue-haired boy came close and you shrank away to your left, only to bump right into the blond one. They cornered you against the wall, the devil's smile toying on their lips, while the other five watched with expressions prowling. The blue-haired leaned close and whispered in your ear, making you shudder. "Then you'll love us." × short story × × noona concept × × bts x reader ×

For when there are no words, music is the next best thing. Because music is universal. It's a language of its own. It's sound and pictures in one. It's imagination and reality. Music is life in motion. Seb/Ciel

[English] Midnight Orchestra is a cafe in a town where famous people usually sing for entertainment. In a newly-opened cafe like this, there's nothing you can't expect. Kidnapping, reunions, dating in the dark, stealing, costume parties, explosions, alien invasion, wars between vampires and werewolves, witches and warlocks. You name it. The stories'll all be here, waiting for you to open the box Pandora forgot to open. The box of magic and love...and laughs. Do you have the guts to open the box and unleash those powers? Then come on in and let the waiter serve you a nice cup of coffee while you read. (This is a songfic compilation about Jesse McCartney's songs. The stories will be more meaningful if you know the songs referenced, but knowing the songs is not necessary. Enjoy!)

Told through the raw and emotional perspective of Kasey, a sharp-witted but conflicted narrator, the story unravels after the brutal murder of Skylar, the girlfriend of Kasey's brother, Shepard. As Kasey and her friends-Chris, Kayleigh, Drew, Bella, and others-are pulled into the courtroom drama, they are forced to confront painful truths about their pasts and the dangerous connections that tie them to Skylar's killer, Tessa. {Complete} Throw in two best friends, a home-schooled newbie, a curly-haired boy, a jokester, a walking encyclopedia, an odd classmate, a diva, a complainer, a very eccentric teacher, and a couple other students and what do you get? A very dysfunctional high school orchestra. Based on a true story and told between two friends, this orchestra can't get along, but issues aside, they can play wonderfully together. After all, enemies can't make music with each other, or can they? ~~~~~ This was written thanks to my best friend at the time inspiring me to put my crazy tale of a year down on paper. A majority of this did actually occur during my school year. Sadly, Orchestra programs are disappearing from schools but we won the right to keep ours and get more funding. I met my best friends through this program and kept my love for music alive. Thank you for reading.
