Imagine that everyone in the world, at birth, was given a necklace. You would get a necklace with half of it missing. The other went to your soulmate. The necklace would warm up when your soulmate is near and grow colder when they are far away. When you see them in person for the first time, their name is inscribed on your arm. Annabelle is from San Fransico, California. Alec is from Bar Harbour, Maine. Annabelle is not interested in finding her soulmate. Alec is very excited to meet his soulmate.
