Cassie meets this nice Voulnteer nurse named, Quinn, at the hospital as they get close. What will happen. -Chapter 3 finished!- Three years ago, a meteorite crashed onto the earth's surface. It was small, not much bigger than an average boulder, but it would have more consequences for the world than anyone could have imagined. Though still unknown at the time, the impact caused a chemical to be released into the air, some even say it was a virus. They named it Stardust. It spread like a wildfire, but the strangest thing about it was that nobody seemed to be affected. That was, until the first Shift happened. He was thirteen years of age. Barely, as he had turned thirteen that day. Then, in the middle of the night, he changed. Not just in age, but in shape. He became a fox. After him, it started happening all around the world to children turning thirteen. Some Shifts were harmless. Dogs, smaller birds, rodents... Those were the most common. You also had horses, reptiles and bigger birds. These were still alright, but then came the dangerous ones. Uncontrollably, children shifted into lions, bears, wolves. They were rare, but dangerous. It became known as the Stardust curse, something that caused children to gain the ability to shift into their spirit animal as soon as they turned thirteen. Not all of them though, but enough for the world to become afraid of their own kind. Now, three years later, the Dusted have become the hunted. Those unlucky enough to shift have been locked away. Deadly accurate personality tests can predict a child's spirit animal, and if dangerous enough, no one ever sees them again. But those fortunate enough to be able to hide before their Shift survive can find a save place for them to live their lives in peace. Stardust Mountain, a town hidden away in the hills of England, a place were the Dusted can thrive without fear. This is our place, open for anyone who needs our help. This is how it all began.

The ache has never felt this prominent. The morning feels so long away. Like a masochist, I imagine that someone is living their own soft pillow love story as I lay here alone. While I mope and yearn, there's a person finding another person's hand in the dark, resting their hand on the place that their shirt rides up, and apologizing for disrupting their slumber. They are learning each other, all for the first time. It's beautiful. I feel like an intruder. But I can't help but greedily peek into their private bubble. ------- Or, a really REALLY soft and sweet story of two people finding each other in the dark of a candlelit room. ------ 8.6k words This is lowkey (?) inspired by "Naked as we came" by Iron & Wine which is a super cute song about pure and bare love. Andrew is a normal twenty-year old. He has reckless friends and his own car, like any adult. But one night, on the drive home from a college party, he and his friends drop by a diner. Fairly normal, until the waitress comes over with fries they didn't order and tells them it's from the man in the corner. A man that was eerily familiar to Andrew... a man he would not soon forget.

Mount Lemmon, Tucson, Az is the first book in a series called 'Ghosts of History'.Each book focuses on a specific event in each state with this book focusing on the Catalina Federal Honors Camp in Tucson, Az which was a Japanese Interment Camp during WW2 along with being a prison camp from 1939 to the 1970s when the camp was burned. In the book, readers will meet four characters from different backgrounds including those coming from different religions. Their first case of telling the unknown stories or continuing telling the story of Catalina Federal Honors Camp located on Mount Lemmon in Tucson Arizona is best well known for housing Gordon Hirabauashi during Japanese Interment during WW2.
