After so many years after the events of Super Paper Mario, life seems to have settled down in more ways than one. The former villains now settling down in homes! Working for shops and starting businesses even! Mr.L and Dimentio have been kept locked up in The Underwhere, but neither of them care to try and escape. But where does the problem start? In Blumiere and Timpani's very own bloodline. Blumiere and Timpani are together in the place they dreamed of. They've been there for years and they eventually decide to have a child. Timpani gives birth to a baby boy, but he's not all that healthy... Their son runs away from home in search of a cure for himself. Blumiere and Timpani seek out help from others, even in unlikely places. What happens when Dimentio refuses Blumiere's offer, but Dimentio's son accepts? And so, a whole new generation of adventures begin for a whole new generation of heroes and villains. (Contains BlumiereXTimpani, Mr.LXDimentio, MarioXPeach, LuigiXDaisy, all that stuff, and they have kids. The Power Shutters arrive at Pristine Peaks in the middle of a snowstorm.

"The Fold of Life? It sounds interesting... I suppose I'll try it." A green toad, sitting on his small desk a little ways off of a hand made origami castle. A regal purple piece of paper spread out in front of him. A book with the forbidden 'Fold of Life' resting to the left of him. "He can sit upon my castle!" The green toad had spent hours figuring out the right design for his little origami creation. He managed to fold the creation before the sky turned dark. "Oh," said the toad, admiring his work. His smile fell as he realized that his creation was not moving. "Have I done something wrong?" The toad wondered if something other than love was required for the forbidden technique. He looked around his work space, his eyes darting from his paper working tools to a random pen lying inches away from his left arm. "Ah, perhaps this will work..."
