Everyone knows the story. A young prince ends up getting twisted into a genocidal tyrant due to a message on his paper. But what if it was revealed there is more to it than that. This is the story of how it started. (Trigger warning: Bullying, Transphobia, Murder, Plans of Genocide, Body horror, Violence, Racism, heavily implied Ableism, Brainwashing, Attempted Patricide, Mild Blood) Meant for readers that are teenagers (at least 13) or older. After their secret was revealed, Olly and Cappy encountered several adventures and mishaps.

(Takes place 342 days after the Guardian Coral and a day after An Eclipse Moves, And, Having Moved, Leaves.) Three girls encounter the Origami King by chance and get the opportunity to take down the remains of the Tarantulan empire. (An origin story for the phase three endgame villain.)

After learning Olly has been captured, the Power Shutters conduct a raid on Cursa's stronghold to defeat Cursa once and for all.

"The Fold of Life? It sounds interesting... I suppose I'll try it." A green toad, sitting on his small desk a little ways off of a hand made origami castle. A regal purple piece of paper spread out in front of him. A book with the forbidden 'Fold of Life' resting to the left of him. "He can sit upon my castle!" The green toad had spent hours figuring out the right design for his little origami creation. He managed to fold the creation before the sky turned dark. "Oh," said the toad, admiring his work. His smile fell as he realized that his creation was not moving. "Have I done something wrong?" The toad wondered if something other than love was required for the forbidden technique. He looked around his work space, his eyes darting from his paper working tools to a random pen lying inches away from his left arm. "Ah, perhaps this will work..."
