The new Cat in town, Madeline finds herself as the new taster for the Fish king, after she finds out her mother died, unknowingly, she gets a letter from one of his butlers telling her to live in the castle. she suspects their being a twist, but she just has to pray it out. finding out from eavesdropping on a group of animals, she finds out that the butler actually lied to her as she was chosen from a system, by law, to be chosen as the next taste tester for the fish King. Will she die from being poisoned from an assassin? or will her care for the king lead into a loving relationship?
