Mira has never wanted more than the quiet life she has built in Little Hillside. Helping her mother in the village grocery shop, watching the sunrise over the ocean and spending time with those she loves is enough. But beneath the village's peaceful routine, something is changing. Harvests are shrinking, flowers are failing to bloom and the resources the community depends on are becoming harder to replace. As the return of an expedition raises troubling questions, Mira finds herself caught in events that will test her loyalty, her courage and everything she believes about the world beyond the village. An Examination of the Flux as Living is an in-world dissertation from The Solah Saga, written by Orm Ormsby, one of the most brilliant mortal minds in the current era of Solah. Orm is an orc scholar who shattered the belief that orcs were only brutish or built for war by becoming the first orc admitted into the Grand Solan Academy for the Gifted and eventually rising into the highest circles of Solan power. This treatise explores the Flux, the living current behind magic in Solah. It covers how magic works, why corruption happens, how Flux can heal or destroy, why the Crown fears unauthorized magic, and how Solah studies, contains, weaponizes, and controls the forces most people barely understand. If Wander's Lost shows what magic can do to a person, Orm's treatise explains what magic is, why it is dangerous, and why Solah will never allow something this powerful to remain free.

The Salt Table Volume I: Remembered by the Soul Some memories are too old to belong to the living. When seventeen-year-old **Seraphina Smith** begins reliving vivid memories that cannot possibly be her own, everything she believes about family, history, and herself begins to unravel. Each birthmark on her body holds the memory of a life once lived. Each Remembering pulls her deeper into a forgotten world where folk magic is inherited through bloodlines, ancestors still whisper through dreams, and the past refuses to stay buried. On a secluded Southern barrier island where old churches stand beside moss-draped oaks and the tides carry more than saltwater, Seraphina must learn why her memories are awakening-and why everyone she loves seems determined to keep the truth from her. Some stories are written in books. Others are carried in songs. But the oldest stories... are remembered by the soul. Welcome to **The Salt Table**.

Before she ever chose a goddess, a goddess had already noticed her. At a loom between archive and garden, Seravelle, goddess of memory, and Velmora, goddess of release, weave the story of a mortal child who saw a forgotten name and could not let it vanish. No one asked her to care. No one praised her for it. No one told her it was holy. She simply noticed. A mythic free-verse apocrypha about memory, grief, divine love, and the sacred difference between being witnessed and being owned.

When Wingate Carlton finds a devotional account claiming that Elarion stepped gladly into the wound of the world, she knows the word is wrong. Then the Worldroot answers her. Speaking through the living walls of the Hearth, Elarion leads Wingate through the truth behind his sacrifice: the fear he carried, the Wish that transformed him, the Fray that nearly erased his name, and the woman whose flame kept someone alive inside the god he became. But this is not a story about saving everything. It is about what remained. A road that still remembered home. A door that still opened. A name that still answered. A light left burning beside the wound. And when Elarion places that memory into Wingate's hands, she must decide what it means to preserve a sacred truth without polishing away the person who lived it. The Root of Memory is a mythic fantasy novella about sacrifice, connection, welcome, and the quiet work of remembering why something was worth saving.

Wingate Carlton wakes beside the Hearth fire and finds a maiden formed from flame kneeling before her. Her name is Nyrielle. She has come to tell the part of the story the songs forget: not the root that held the breaking world together, but the flame that stayed beside him. Long ago, when Elarion tried to take care of everyone else, Nyrielle asked the question no legend wanted to answer: If he is taking care of everyone else, who will take care of him? A mythic fantasy short about love, sacrifice, longing, and the quiet courage of staying.

Published by the Tranquil Rune Press, Archivist Arabella Elmheart's extensive collection of Kefren histories, legends and mythologies is the perfect guide for anyone wanting to better understand the history of Kefren. It explores Kefren's geography, sociology, historical events, and cultural stories. Elmheart uses the words of other authors, compiling legends in an understandable and accessible format to assist in research. She builds on the efforts of generations of scholars at the Tranquil Rune University in Orkmont, Thelafonn. (but really, this is a book made purely of worldbuilding for my fictional world, Kefren. Over a year in the making, this world was originally designed for my homebrew Dungeons and Dragons game and is now being expanded to develop and explore worldbuilding and lore further in a literary form and share it with my readers.)

Grief is such an inexplicable emotion. It strikes you suddenly, just like a predator in the dense forests of Gionia, at a moment when you least expect it to hit you, to deflate you like a balloon, to suck the life out of you, to make you feel like nothing ever mattered because no matter what you did, its all just a memory now, a memory that will stay with you until you die and you are lost into oblivion. I didn't expect to feel so shattered, so lost, so suffocated in my homeland but ever since that day, I do. Join Selina to know what's going on in her world, will she be able to stop it, or will she be killed in the process.

Helheim. The resting ground for the disgraced. Those who failed to live up to the standards for Valhalla are sentenced to wander forever through the misty, frozen wastes, with no memory of who they were. Every now and then, however, a person will end up falling in while they still live. And to those poor unfortunate souls, the Queen of Helheim - lady Hel herself - issues one challenge: to find a way out. But one such man seems to be struggling to leave. Not for lack of trying, mind you. Recognising the portals don't seem to work on him, he draws nearer to the shores of Gjöll, unaware of just what fate holds for him. (Consider this the "pilot episode" for the overarching story - an origin story for the hero, to be precise).

Spirit Punch On the Blue Planet, power is measurable-and unforgiving. Omitaru is a young enchanter with an unstable gift: he can unleash overwhelming force at precise moments in time, but every strike drains him to the brink of collapse. Strength alone won't save him. Control is the real challenge. When a chance encounter in the city of Florblanca draws the attention of a dangerous recruiter, Omitaru is pulled into a conflict that threatens both the physical world and the spiritual realm. Alongside a disciplined mage, a hardened mentor, and his loyal dragon companion, he must learn how to survive in a world where power has limits, mistakes have consequences, and growth is never free. Spirit Punch is a progression-driven fantasy where training matters, energy is finite, and victory isn't about who hits hardest-but who can still stand when it's over. Spirit Punch is written by Rontres Akeme Shorts (PifflyUniverse). This story is also published on Royal Road under the same author.

Even Monsters Deserve Mercy Story Bio In a world where dark magic is forbidden and dragons are treated as legends-or monsters-Marshall survives by staying quiet, bowing his head, and apologizing for existing. A dragon-kin marked by slavery, cursed by nobles, and carved with names that should never have touched flesh, Marshall carries pain that healing magic cannot undo. To the world, his power is evil. To him, it is simply what kept him alive. When Marshall steps into an Adventurers' Guild searching for work, he doesn't expect cruelty to follow him inside. He doesn't expect kindness either. But in the aftermath of violence, shame, and truth laid bare, something rare begins to form-a found family. A healer who believes no one should walk alone. A guild that chooses protection over prejudice. And a quiet, mythic presence known only as the Song Prince, who eases pain but never heals without consent. As Marshall begins a journey across dangerous lands, forgotten ruins, and hostile cities, he must face a question more terrifying than any monster: Does he deserve mercy... even from himself? This is a dark fantasy adventure about survival, choice, and compassion- about scars that don't fade, pain that isn't always cured, and the quiet truth that even monsters deserve mercy.
