When we last met our hero, it was in the depths of Helheim, having been trapped for seven long years and forced to brave the cold in a game designed to be unwinnable. Now? He has won, anyway, and been granted the reward for victory - ascension. But the life of an einherjar in Asgard is one of constant battle, and this could not be more true for Leif Laufwyn. After all, "Hel is other people", or something like that. Facing off against the enemies of Asgard and fending off the dagger-like stares of his new peers, Leif unwillingly fights a battle on two fronts - but even now, it appears fate is not quite done with him yet.

Humanity believes itself to be the final product of evolution. From fish that crawled out of the water and onto land, through apes that learned to stand on two feet, to humans who came to claim the world as their own. But evolution was not the only path. Ancient beings awakened through their origins and took on the efficient, yet threatening form of humans. They watched humanity from the mountains, the skies, and the forests, guarding the territories that had always been theirs. Bears who carried the strength of mountains, serpents who learned to read patterns instead of time, tigers born with the instinct to dominate, eagles who never looked away from above. All of them took human form, and all of them defended their domains. For centuries, a single pact-witnessed by mountains and seas-held firm. Until humanity broke it. Armed forces, driven by ideology and belief, crossed into forbidden lands. And when ancient guardians answered with roars powerful enough to tear reality apart, a war began- not between nations, but between origins. This is a story of two kinds of people: those who evolved by forgetting where they came from, and those who became human by remembering. As bloodlines collide and history is rewritten, one question remains. Was humanity ever meant to rule this world alone?

Trust no one... Plagued by ghosts and secrets, Artemis Avery had learned at a young age not to trust anyone. But that feat is easier said than done when living in a world where only a few know what Artemis is. Embers, commonly called "witches" in the mortal world, lived in hiding, including Artemis and her family. They lived normal, human lives with the exception of an annual gathering of all Embers. Fearing another bloody witch-hunt, the Embers live as humans, living in their cities and towns, posing as one of them. But no human could control any beast with their mind or change appearance at will. Artemis trusted no one. Until strange visions begin leaking into her dreams, and a dark-haired boy with a dark future changes everything. [ original of my fan fiction "ghost"]

In the twilight forests of Feyndral, where songs can wake seeds and roots remember every kindness, a young Groveborn named Rin faces a simple problem that refuses to stay small. His ceremonial vine won't climb the festival arch, and every piece of the forest wants something first-the soil, the stream, the moss, even the beetles. What begins as one child's stubborn task grows into a song that stirs the whole forest, reminding Feyndral that growth is never solitary. A gentle Sylren folktale filled with light, rhythm, and the whisper of living roots. Perfect for readers who love soft magic, forest lore, and stories where patience and kindness carry the greatest power.

A Legacy's duty is to protect the world from the evil of the Seen and Unseen worlds, however they must do that while often going against what they personally believe in. The Separation has been going on for a long time and Darkness is on the rise. It's up to the Legacies to set the balance right, and yet so many people already hate them. --- This story is currently very much a work in progress and I've decided to publish it here for some constructive feedback to polish it up...

Even Monsters Deserve Mercy Story Bio In a world where dark magic is forbidden and dragons are treated as legends-or monsters-Marshall survives by staying quiet, bowing his head, and apologizing for existing. A dragon-kin marked by slavery, cursed by nobles, and carved with names that should never have touched flesh, Marshall carries pain that healing magic cannot undo. To the world, his power is evil. To him, it is simply what kept him alive. When Marshall steps into an Adventurers' Guild searching for work, he doesn't expect cruelty to follow him inside. He doesn't expect kindness either. But in the aftermath of violence, shame, and truth laid bare, something rare begins to form-a found family. A healer who believes no one should walk alone. A guild that chooses protection over prejudice. And a quiet, mythic presence known only as the Song Prince, who eases pain but never heals without consent. As Marshall begins a journey across dangerous lands, forgotten ruins, and hostile cities, he must face a question more terrifying than any monster: Does he deserve mercy... even from himself? This is a dark fantasy adventure about survival, choice, and compassion- about scars that don't fade, pain that isn't always cured, and the quiet truth that even monsters deserve mercy.

A combination of stories set in a gritty fantasy world of dark spirits and blood magic with a fairly classic fantasy style, all set on the Island of Theoí. If you've read 'The name of the Wind' you might see a fair bit of inspiration in style but hopefully a very different story, setting and characters. --- "No!" Jamison almost coughed on his own words as he woke up suddenly by the cold rock with bloody smears staining its surface. Panicking he fought for breath and found only harsh brittle air rather than the warm smooth campfire heat; a warmer body had slumped next to him and he turned to find Corke staring at him with a worried expression. Upon seeing his face she relaxed and looked out along the wall, glancing her eyes from the singed ashes of the Pemberfrost weeds to the long slashing shadow of the great monolith.--- Sanctum is set in the brutal aftermath of Sanctums fall; a prison off from the main land mass in which a group chosen by the Meredith Crown are sent to bring down the final Monolith that still stands. Upon arriving the group finds an abandoned and necrotic aura seeping over the mist that engulfs Sanctum, there is no life in the halls of stone.

Amberleigh had been recklessly traveling between realms for years (accidentally, of course) unsure of how or why she continually found herself in a world called Erivale. Stuck in a not so great situation in the human realm, she escapes by literally falling into Erivale once again - although this time is different. A mysterious man traveling with a pack of wolves snatches her from the edge of death and claims to know her history. He also wants the bounty on her head. Leave it to the cold-blooded stranger to not so subtly break the news - Amberleigh was an Elf. Of course, it couldn't just stop there; she was an Elven princess. Cue adventures, sword battles, etiquette lessons, and magic. Amberleigh will need all the help she can get to make it through. The world of Erivale isn't as magical as it seems, and a mystery is unfolding - one that threatens Amberleigh's life and the freedoms of those around her. The Lost Princess is returning to Erivale, and no one, not even she, is ready for what is to come. Currently being edited.
