Sometimes life throws you a curveball. Sometimes it tells you to expect the unexpected and live through it. There are millions that can't handle it and that's what leads to suicide. Or so they tell you. Her life's a little different. She's the supposed 'meek' one of her classes. The pushover. She's not, she just hasn't had a pleasant past. What with a vindictive ex-boyfriend, the constant accusation that she wasn't straight as first assumed when some spoke about her, as well as a neglecting father, life for fifteen-year-old Alyssa Pine isn't going so great. When the new kid turns out no different, things make a turn for the worst.

Kai or Karma hasn't exactly had it easy. Being taken at a young age and raised in a program called NHI or New Heroes Initiative. But if anything the program just takes children to turn them into mindless soldiers. In his world more than 90% of the population had powers. An unlucky percentage of 10% of people don't have powers. There are heroes and villains in this world and Alex isn't sure we're he stands. As a soldier of NHI he follows orders without question but what happens when he starts to question what he's doing? Will he be able to escape the path he's on or will he fail? (This is a BNHA fanfic. My own OCs among other things are mine, like the plot line.)
