Lonely, grieving and out of place in this quiet town, Kai finds it hard to adjust to his new environment and grows to hate the town and its oddities However, everything changes when he meets Farin, a mage who once worked for a group known as the Kamen General but is now rebelling against them. As reality shatters around him, Kai is thrown into the battle between realms and learns that Misty Hollow is a lot more than it seems.
