This is set after Barry Vanishes in 2019. Caitlin Snow has been trying to find a way to get Barry back for some time but when her problems get in the way, she questions if it's even possible.

The Barry Allen of Earth-2 wasn't exactly sure how he had expected his day to end, but this wasn't it. Then again, he wouldn't have been surprised to end his day in the morgue, so maybe this was better. Alternatively, when Barry finds an injured and dying Killer Frost, he makes a decision. But little does he know that his decision will set off a chain of events that will not only change his fate, but the fate of his entire world.

Barry and Caitlin have always had feelings for each other, but Barry just doesn't realize it. Until he gets a punch of reality.
