Sometime after the events of the Fullbringer Arc, everything in the world seemed peaceful, besides the occasional hollow that found its way into the human world. The Soul Society was back to its usual routines, everyday seeming better than the last. But there was one thing that no one counted on happening to disturb this time of peace, startling every Shinigami and sending them into a frenzy of panic. What could have destroyed the quiet that had settled over everyone, and what destruction will it bring?

The world has two main beings that thrive - the human and the supernatural. A long time ago, when humans were on the brink of extinction, vampires were born.

After a vicious battle on the canopy of Las Noches the dust settles, and a moment of peace is allowed to shine through. This is a highly self-indulgent piece that features tooth-rotting fluff, Ichihime, and a few of my personal head canons. This was written pretty quickly, so the characters may be a little OOC.

However, once they found it they discovered it was an immensely powerful child: Ichigo Kurosaki. Upon this discovery Central 46 and the captains of The Soul Society agreed not to interfere with the boy's life until he reached his majority. Yet once again fate was not with them, for when Ichigo turned nine he and his mother were murdered by a hollow, and the boy's soul was lost. All hope for ending the war against Aizen seemed to have vanished. That is, until a particularly successful raid against Aizen's fortress of Las Noches brought The Soul Society a very interesting prisoner.
