Although, the tale we shall dwell onto is a tale that lies within a tale... a story that lies within the depths of this land. A story of a man who woke up from his slumber. A man who has no choice but to be greeted with a cruel awakening, a bloody battlefield, within the very mist that carries the slight scent of war. I literally have no idea what to write here. Stared out as an idea for my Dekuverse story, now making it a regular story cause I like it.

What would happen if the events that kickstarted the entire story of Arknights, were somehow, different? What if there were others who were on that mission to save the Doctor, others with... complicated affairs? Others that could influence events that would bring about unforeseen ramifications... Two operators rooted in turmoil that plagued both the infected and non-infected alike. Two kinds with a past that changed who they once were, sparking their own warped ambition. And their fates all leading up to one end beyond belief, testing the limits of what they can handle... Enter Kyrin and Shade, and see how they will change the course of events in Terra, resounding a cacophony that no one is prepared for. But fate is a cruel mistress, and a series of unfortunate events will tear the seams of the bond between Lee and his loved ones... And push him down a path of pure darkness.

This is a male reader x Arknights story. A man, famous for wandering Terra and infamous for crimes such as murders, thievery, and others. Nothing is known about him, his past, his name, everything but one thing... The fact that he's infamous by the name Reporter, one could say that this is a ridiculous name for a worldwide known criminal. Sure it is... but no one can disagree that he's in fact a reporter, reporting for his duties, one that holds information, and secrets surrounding Terra. A wanderer, wandering Terra freely without anyone stopping him one way or another. The word 'criminal' isn't a term that's supposed to be used for him, he's more like an adventurous wanderer surrounded by the winds of freedom... Perhaps, this is one of the reason why he could be so dangerous. He's widely known as a criminal because of the record he had in Ursus and because of the disadvantages that Ursus will have if this information is leaked.

"You're a demon..." An unknown operator of unknown age and race, revealed himself to help Rhodes Island with the retrieval of the Doctor.
