Originally written in 2020; newly edited in 2024. In the mermaid society of the Maji, human life is sacrificed to evolve into the powerful, winged state of Hewa. Those that do not advance are banished from society and left to fend for themselves in the great oceans...so it is either kill or be killed. Nia's life is torn between the Maji and the humans who took her in when her own family went missing. Seen as a failure in the Maji world, she is determined to find a way to become human herself and lead a new life with her friend and her love. But when the mythical gift of the Siren's Kiss awakens in her, both worlds are turned upside down. Nia's newfound power has the ability to save either the human world she covets or the mermaid world she despises. Whichever she chooses to save will destroy the other. Authors note: This is a story I wrote to keep my spirits up when I was furloughed in 2020 due to COVID. It still needs a lot of editing; if enough people are actually interested in this story, I will buckle down and get to reediting! :)

Getting into trouble was something Kimbo always seemed to be doing no matter how much he tried otherwise. his Mama just took it that he was acting up but he really wasn't, trouble just seemed to be waiting on every corner to surprise him. So when Mama's usually impeccable car drives into the school compound at five freaking thirty looking like it just battled it's way out of riot specifically aimed at denting and charring the cars formerly smooth and silver body, what's the chance of something more surprising happening? well if learning you are part of some totally out of this realm stuff, I mean celestials who you thought were myths kinda stuff, isn't more surprising to you then at least learning your history doesn't add up anymore to what you are being told is true has to hold a little sway, right? if that's not enough for you well... well... I honestly don't know but I do know that tragedies do speak volumes, so tell me what you'd do if the only person who could give you the answers you need dies just because you couldn't just delay her for one freaking minute. there's at least one lesson to be learnt though, never ever Ever EVER get caught in the middle of a fight between the Orishas.

"Some children are born into destiny. Others are claimed by it." In a world where spirits walk beside the living and ancient power stirs beneath every whisper, Abeni is called. She never asked for the gift. She never asked to feel fire in her palms, to dream in languages the elders stopped speaking, or to be seen by the Orishas themselves. But when Ikoro, a vengeful spirit born of bitterness and silence, rises to twist truth and feed on forgotten fears, Abeni must become the fire. Trained by Sango, shielded by Osun, and haunted by visions of what's to come, Abeni must decide if she will rise-or vanish with the forgotten. But truth is a dangerous weapon. And not all spirits want to be remembered... Omo Ti Awo n Gbe - Child Carried by the Divine - is the first book in a West African fantasy series rooted in Yoruba cosmology, ancestral power, and a heroine's journey through shadow and spirit.

Once Upon a Time, there lived a benevolent king and queen who ruled over their enchanted kingdom of Hadithia, a lush land outside of time and space created by the Orisha for their people of the Diaspora to find new life. Though the land was filled with only the purest raw magic, it could easily be manipulated for cruel schemes and wicked tricks. Because of a broken heart and a trickster Orishan god, the land was torn into two pieces: one hidden from this plain of existence, and one cursed upon it. The twin heirs to the kingdom were forced apart, one to rule each land to protect their people and the magic of Hadithia. This is an anthology of stories collected from the broken kingdom and transcribed for modern day readers to behold. These tales are filled with romance, adventure, magic and legends that have been shared across the many countries of Africa for generations. Enjoy.

When gods walk the earth, even shadows must remember their names. A small village stands at the edge of ruin, its people caught between mortal fear and divine silence. From the old tales, eight Orisha rise again - guardians bound by fate, drawn by the cry of the desperate. But as the veil between worlds trembles, something older stirs in the deep: the Ajogun whisper, and in the dark between creation and decay, an ancient nameless power begins to wake. In a world where myths still bleed into reality, balance itself may not be salvation - only the calm before another storm.

"I was born with a pen in one hand, and a silence in the other. The world gave me horror stories-monsters, curses, shadows in closets. But I had to unearth the one they buried deep... The one where I was the haunted thing- and the only way out was remembering who I was before I forgot." This is the story of Oriyomi Nyamewa Adekora, a woman born from divinity, silence, and fire. In this supernatural, Afro-spiritual tale, Oriyomi uncovers the truth that her deepest fear was never a creature-it was the weight of memory. What starts as a mysterious haunting leads her into a realm of ancestral messages, unfinished rituals, and the reawakening of power hidden in plain sight. Chapter by chapter, she walks the path from fear... to flame... to guide. And you're invited to walk it with her. This is not just a horror story. It's an initiation.
