When Shredder and Shen were together, they had a baby named Mari, but when Shen died, Shredder took her and Yoshi's daughter Karai. When they grew up, they had to go to New York to fight teenage mutant ninja turtles follow them as they realized that Shredder is the bad guy.

Thirteen years into their life underground, Miwa, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo leave the sewers to brave the world above. But not everything goes as smoothly hoped, not when enemies lurk on every corner.
