The Fall of the Riders, told from a young dragon rider who had to watch as the Empire she hated so much grew stronger. ~Disclaimer~ Many of these characters are not owned by me, but owned by friends of mine or by the author of Eragon. Ophelia, Narcissa, Alex, Vanilor, Rhaemyr, Ash, and Xaranën are not owned by me but by friends of mine who this is slightly a gift for.. Lucian, Rin, Layla, and Vindr are owned by me. This is a fanficion story, based on the Inheritance Cycle tetralogy, by Christopher Paolini. Kaia and Meyra have been best friends for ten years. Nothing can separate them, not the hardships of life, not the bullies. But when the legendary Dragon Riders arrive for the first time in Daret, both girls' lives will never be the same. Two teenage girls, coming from poor families in a small town next to the Spine, they are expected to become fierce warriors, protectors and peacekeepers. Will they meet the high standards and thrive or will their friendship crumble under the pressure?

A year and a half after the defeat of Galbatorix at the hands of Eragon and the Varden, Alagaësia has moved forward - without Eragon. Abroad training the two new Riders that have been sent to him, Eragon's mind is attacked by a force far more powerful than Galbatorix was. The only problem? The only people around for thousands of leagues are Blödhgarm and the elves, the new Riders and their dragons and himself and Saphira. Who could this new threat be? Read more to find out! A quick note: Obviously I don't own any of the characters created by Christopher Paolini in his series the Inheritance Cycle, and don't claim any credit for them. However, any new characters in this fan fiction are solely my own creation, and belong to me. This applies for the whole book (mainly as I'm rather lazy and can't be bothered putting it in at the start of every chapter like I see sometimes)

Two hundred years ago the rider Eragon and his dragon Sahira were sent to the far east. Now they have returned to find the land they once knew was destroyed when the mysterious black king arose. He is the last free rider, the order of the riders is gone, murdered by Gablatorix. Now they must fight to end his reign.

This is based on the Inheritance Trilogy. (Spoiler Alert: if you haven't read all the books) #1 in Oromis / #1 in Glaedr / #44 in Eragon / #59 in Blade / #60 in destroyed - 09/05/19.

After an UNSC fleet fell prey to an ancient Forerunner scheme, a lone Spartan is left stranded in a world that he doesn't understand. He gets himself inadvertently bonded to a dragon, marking him as a pawn in a new conflict. He must fight for his life and overcome his own nature to gain allies in a world where nothing makes sense. But war always catches on, burning all it touches. Episode 1: Inserted into Alagaesia, Running from the Empire, The Varden, Battle of Farthen Dur, The Shade's master, A New Leader for the Varden, Travelling to Du Weldenvarden. I believe that seeing more than 60 parts in a story makes the readers (or at least me as a reader) feel uncomfortable so I'm dividing in different Episodes: At the Beors, At Du Weldenvarden, The Beggining of the Invasion, New Allies, etc. I'm trying to keep the word count per chapter at 2000 but I can't always divide the chapters smoothly so there may be some parts with 3000 to 7000 words. I suggest to read each chapter entirely to get a better grasp of the plot. Also, there are some scenes of bloodshed and fight, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. Also gramatical correction of the already posted chapters. Meeting Oromis and Glaedr makes Jesse's homeward journey just thaat touch more difficult, especially after endless hints that she may have been mistaken for one of the Grey Folk. Though she learns what it means to be a true Rider alongside Eragon, her dreams fill her days with more things to worry about than the nasty elf Vanir. Why does she always see Murtagh and a werewolf? And why does her heart always clench when she sees them, like she was some sort of damsel in distress? Please read to find out.

Maria is the daughter of Galbatorix. one day when she is wandering through his castle she accidentally stumbles across a fourth dragon egg that no one but her father had been aware he had. when the egg starts to hatch for her she knows she will have to either leave the empire or be forced to serve her father. she knows of the many horrid things her father had done and she refuses to follow in his footsteps. what will happen when she eventually finds the varden and meets Eragon Shadeslayer.

Liduen is an elf child. She is born after Eragon leaves to restart the Riders, enjoy her adventure!
