Death is not the end. Not in this story. For some lucky humans who happen to be in the right place at the right time when their life comes to a close death is not permanent Death is purely a chrysalis-like state And when death ceases its hold, an Orphic is born from the ruins. - AUTHORS NOTE: My aim of this novel was to create a world that makes you, the reader, feel something. A world that shows you the magic that may be found in freedom and adventure. A world with moments so beautiful and breath-taking, they make you forget your own. It may be a story that contains death, chaos and darkness; but magic, love and beauty can sometimes blossom from the darkest of moments. - The moral right of the author has been asserted. I thought it was the end. Now i wish it had been. In the year 2214 an apocalypse has raged. The world is full of demonic creatures with catastrophic tendencies. In a few months cities and settlements were overthrown with these beings. They reside in forests and dark places where they are given a sense of comfort. For years scientist have experimented and reasearched what humans label as "orphics" in hope of finding a resolution. Iris is a graduating student of Academy of Orphicism and has earned the title of caretaker. She is assigned to watch how two captured orphics behave. But when one of them escapes and she is left with no choice but to follow them she learns the true purpose of these beings and humanities barbaric ways. I'm not very good at updating so be aware of that This is my first time putting my ideas into a book so it might not be as great. I will edit it once it it is completed. Anyway enjoy this story. :) (I will probably regret writing this)

Okeanus is the primal Greek God of water, from whence we derive the word Ocean. He is A Titan God, son of Ouranus and Gaia, and was thought of as the primal water surrounding the earth, the source of all rivers and seas. In mythology He remained neutral in the war between the Gods and the Titans, thus He can be seen as a God of transcendence, undefiled by squabbling and war. He is the most fertile of Gods, His offspring numbering thousands.

In the vibrant chaos of university life, Kiro, an ordinary student who prefers the quiet hum of his own thoughts, finds himself drawn to the extraordinary. Xavier isn't just popular; he's a phenomenon - the charismatic president of the music club, the celebrated captain of the basketball varsity, and the undisputed king of the campus. Kiro, an introvert who thrives on solitude, knows the harsh truth: in Xavier's dazzling world, he's invisible. This is the story of an unspoken love, a yearning from afar, and the crushing realization that sometimes, the person you've fallen for doesn't even know you exist. Can a connection ever spark when one heart beats for another that's utterly, beautifully, maddeningly out of reach?

' Orphic (adj.) mysterious and entrancing, beyond ordinary understanding. ' Everyone's scared of the dark. Everyone's scared of death. Everyone's scared of a monster hiding underneath the bed. Everyone's scared of something. Arden is stuck in the afterlife. She doesn't know how she got there, how long she's been there and has no recollection of her past life. But the afterlife provides Arden with a distraction: she's now a ghost, and now she scares for a living. Ironic, huh?
