Death is not the end. Not in this story. For some lucky humans who happen to be in the right place at the right time when their life comes to a close death is not permanent Death is purely a chrysalis-like state And when death ceases its hold, an Orphic is born from the ruins. - AUTHORS NOTE: My aim of this novel was to create a world that makes you, the reader, feel something. A world that shows you the magic that may be found in freedom and adventure. A world with moments so beautiful and breath-taking, they make you forget your own. It may be a story that contains death, chaos and darkness; but magic, love and beauty can sometimes blossom from the darkest of moments. - The moral right of the author has been asserted. The Oneiri are the Ancient Greek Daemones (supernatural powers/spirits/minor gods) of dreams. According to the Roman writer Ovid, Morpheus is their leader. They are reported to be either the children or siblings of Hypnos the God of sleep, children of Nyx and Erebus, having their home in that place in Hades also named Erebus. The Oneiri can bring us Blessed, healing and prophetic dreams, or nightmares and false prophecies. We pray that they may bring us the former.
