Roop I was a witness to a murder. Now, I'm a spirit in a gilded cage. My life ended the night I saw too much in that bar. But then he found me. Prithvi Chauhan. The man who offered me a name, a ring, and a lie. He wants a wife to appease his family. I want a future where I'm not looking over my shoulder. The deal is simple: One room. One secret. But every time he looks at me, I forget that this is just a deal. ※※ Prithvi I don't do charity. I do business. My family wants a bride? I'll give them one. Roop was supposed to be a tool. A witness I could keep on a leash. She's a bar dancer with no past and a dangerous future. I told her I'd be a gentleman. I told her I wouldn't touch her. But watching her move through my house is a slow-burn torture. She thinks she's a prisoner in my cage. She doesn't realize I'm the one being held captive. My friend wants her silenced. My family wants her perfect. But I'm keeping her. Because she owes me her life, and I'm coming to collect. ※ ※ ※ Ruin & Reverence is a standalone age-gap, forced-proximity romance. It contains a guaranteed happily-ever-after and no cheating.

"You want me to marry Devesh, Ajji?" Dhara almost shouted, her voice shaking. "Aap mujhe force kar rahi ho? No... I can't do this. Sirf Uma ki kasam ke liye main apni zindagi barbaad nahi karungi. Mera nephew mera hai... aur main kasam khati hoon, bhai ki marzi ke khilaaf koi bhi usse mujhse alag nahi kar sakta." "Par rishta bura toh nahi hai, Dhara. Uma ki family" "To hell with Uma's family!" Dhara snapped, her eyes burning. "Mujhe unki dafa nahi padti. Main apni zindagi unke rules pe nahi chalane wali. Aur Devesh..." she scoffed, almost laughing bitterly, "he is not at all my type." Ajji leaned forward, her tone sharp. "Toh phir kaun hai tera type?" Her heart stopped. For a second she forgot to breathe. Kaise kahun... kaise bataun ki jo insaan mere dil mein hai... woh Siddharth hai? But then reality hit her like a stone. Their parents had already ruined everything. Siddharth's brother's proposal had come, and with that, every dream shattered. A lump formed in her throat, but she forced herself to swallow it. She wouldn't cry here, not in front of Ajji. If not Siddharth... then no one, she promised silently. She turned away, holding the baby tighter. Akash stirred in her arms, his tiny face resting against her shoulder. She pressed a kiss to his head and whispered in her heart, "Mujhe koi rishta nahi chahiye. Agar mere paas tu hai, toh main akeli nahi hoon." And without another word, Dhara walked into her room, her steps heavy but her resolve unshaken.

A critical study of the transformation of the Russian Orthodox Church into an ideological instrument of power. The author analyzes how the 2022 "Prayer for Holy Russia" became a symbol of the rejection of the Gospel commandments, traces the history of the integration of the Russian Orthodox Church with the state since Stalin's era, and documents the repression directed against anti-war clergy. The book reveals the systemic nature of the crisis within the modern Moscow Patriarchate.
