We open on a cape blowing in the wind, we hear some servos dining and parts moving. The camera moves and we see a machine in front of a grave. He opens his eyes and rises to his feet, his limbs releasing some steam as he rises. He turns around and the camera catches his left eye servo, he speaks with a scratchy voice ???: Protect....the....damned...

It had been a few months since Cayde-6 death, and he hasn't worked with anyone else in fear of something bad happening to them. But, when the Sundial starts to go crazy it sucks him in somewhere, he has ended up on the Planet Remnant. Will his old fears rise again, or will he stand proud against the enemy with his new friends?

First I would like to point out these are not my words, but are all from the popular video game Destiny. Made by Bungie. It's one of my favorite games and these books tell of the origin of my favorite enemy race in the game. The Books of Sorrow is a collection of verses compiled by Oryx, the Taken King, and including verses from the Worm Gods and Oryx's sisters, as well as from other civilizations.The Books of Sorrow also detail the history and philosophy of the Hive and their relationship with the Worm Gods and the Deep. I am just a fan try to intrigue other people about video games and the lore behind them. Thank you and enjoy.

After the Taken King fell, life at the tower for the Guardians returned to its usual monotony. Medals were issued, speeches were given, and the Traveller blossomed with light.
