When her grandmother dies Kiyoko inherits a silver and Ruby necklace along with a letter from her elder. It explains that she has a gift to forsee soulmates when wearing the necklace and touching one of the couple. It also enables her to hear their thoughts for a short time. After the funeral she meets up with the volleyball team that are at a training camp for 2 weeks with some other teams. She soon starts to see who are meant for each other so she decides to give them a little push. Every October, they meet up for one weekend. It started in high school: cheap convenience store snacks, terrible horror movies, crowded Halloween festivals, and whatever ridiculous attraction someone found online.
