Alex Thorne: 33 years old. Amateur history enthusiast, archivist for the City of New York, and moderator of r/LetterMan. Letter Man: Age unknown. Writer of unsigned letters full of historical musings and stock tips discovered in thrift shops, tucked into secondhand books, and, one time, in a book of postcards for sale at the Alcatraz gift shop. Who is Letter Man? A performance artist? A bored history nut? A man traveling through time? Alex has followed the mystery for a decade, but always assumed it would remain just that-a mystery. She believes this until the day a user pops up on Reddit, calling himself u/MrBlueSky, posting a letter nearly identical to the Letter Man letters, except these letters are fresh, not found. And this letter contains clues that lead to more clues, clues that piece together an ARG. Who is Mr. Blue Sky? Is he Letter Man? Could he truly be a time traveller? And how is Harry Houdini involved?

Recensioni scrause scritte sotto lo pseudonimo di Lord Goring, in quanto anch'io, come lui, ho la tendenza di nascondere accuratamente la mia vena filosofica sotto strati di humor mal recepito e un'aria da dandy fancazzista. A voi.

Oscar Wilde's only novel is the dreamlike story of a young man who sells his soul for eternal youth and beauty. In this celebrated work Wilde forged a devastating portrait of the effects of evil and debauchery on a young aesthete in late-19th-century England. Combining elements of the Gothic horror novel and decadent French fiction, the book centers on a striking premise: As Dorian Gray sinks into a life of crime and gross sensuality, his body retains perfect youth and vigor while his recently painted portrait grows day by day into a hideous record of evil, which he must keep hidden from the world. For over a century, this mesmerizing tale of horror and suspense has enjoyed wide popularity. It ranks as one of Wilde's most important creations and among the classic achievements of its kind.

Pretty much this is what came from me doing a creative writing task at school and deciding to expand and elaborate upon it a bit more. I do not own the poem at the end, the credit for that of course goes to Oscar Wilde. (It's my favourite poem and it is featured in another short story I have written) Uh hmm... Not really much else except hopefully you enjoy.

Three different people, three different views, three different worlds. Innocence that is looked down upon and innocence as art. A young boy becomes a muse, an idol, an icon. The young Dorian Devereux has a certain magic to him, he has a charming beauty, he looks as if touched by an angel, carved by michelangelo himself, painted by carravagio. A photographer falls in love with his magical aura but accidentally introduces him to a hedonistic talent scout. Who tries to lead Dorian into a life of fame, sensuality and illegal activities. Untill someone points out the terrifying similarities between him and his namesake, Dorian gray...... ~~~~~~ a book inspired by my favourite book: The Picture of Dorian Gray. And my favourite writer Oscar Wilde. This is my way of showing how thankful I am to the great writers in this world which have inspired me so much since I was young.

Being the heiress of a Galactic fortune should be fun, right? Well... Miss Delailah West, daughter to a Starlord, is about to learn that the splendours she's enjoyed all her life come at a price - namely that of marriage and the limiting existence as an "ornament to society", or whatever nonsense her mother spouts. Delailah is determined not to end up an idle creature of luxury and to make her own way in the galaxy instead, but this begs the question: how in the Twin Queens' names does a young lady of galictocratic birth find her destiny, and can she do it while also defying her family's expectations and falling in love? --- Author's Note: Have you ever wondered what would happen if you threw Jane Austen's Collected Works into a blender and mixed them, sent the result roughly 5.000 years into the future and seasoned with Galactic aristocracy, a hint of Oscar Wilde and space-travel? ... I imagine it'd read something like this.

A wondrous, humorous, childish, smart, exciting and cozy adventure set in an alternate 1950s where superhero culture is a treasured national characteristic and superheroes themselves ascend beyond the regular famous persona. We follow the shining examples of this: the legendary, mighty, often hungry, pleasure seeking, good hearted, just, comical, fantastical and creative hero Sweet Justice and his technologically advanced, tight paced, more serious young companion Busty Buick. They toil around the US in search of people in need of heroisms, and gladly help out all who need them, heavily snacking, providing social commentary and enjoying art along the way. They truly are our most virtues heroes, and their back in forth bickering is presented in the most lovable Oscar Wilde style, represented in his magnum opus of novels (and his only one) The Picture Of Dorian Gray.
