Bert the Ostrich was having a normal day at the Canadian Ostrich Conservation Centre when something unexpected happened. Bert is released into the wild of Edmonton and he has to face many challenges.

Kyle is a pessimistic and lazy loner. His motto in life is "If at first you don't succeed, assume it's hopeless and sleep until you're inevitably woken." Kyle believes that he will never find love. It's not like he cares though, relationships take time away from sleeping and eating. That was before he met Gabriel. Gabriel is everything Kyle was not. Loud, joyful, outgoing, and optimistic, he leaves a mark on everyone he meets. His bubbly personality makes Kyle immediately despise him. Can Kyle learn to love Gabriel? Or will he be driven mad by him?
