However, when Rose first meets Dave, her first impression of him surprises you. Oh, did I mention you're a demon hunter from a family of hunters? Your name is Karkat Vantas and you're 15 years old. You are a demon. You expected the day to be like any other day, but you were horribly mistaken when your best friend and long time crush, John, becomes friends with the new kid, Dave. You try to keep up your normal facade, but it soon becomes hard. Especially when you notice how close they're becoming in such little time. You're almost jealous of Dave, but you aren't really sure how to feel about him as a person. This becomes even harder over time. Unfortunately for you, John starts to notice how different you're acting and starts to get worry and ask questions. The only way to really explain how you feel to him would be by telling John how you feel, and there's no way you can do that.
