(Cover art by me) Wirt has had a hard time moving on from his adventures that happened over the garden wall last year. Matters are made even worse after he moves away from his town in Arizona to the sleepy town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. During his move, he meets the mystery twins, Dipper and Mable Pines. Although the twins help him cope with moving a lot better, there is one thing that still keeps him awake at night. He has the beast's lantern and he feels like it's calling out to him. What if Wirt never made it out of the Unknown, but Greg did? Because of Wirt's sacrifice for Greg, he dies and Greg is devastated. Greg grows up isolate from everyone else and prefers to be alone all the time. He's always so sad, angry, and bitter and everyone at school steers clear from him. Except for the new transfer student...Beatrice.

As the world becomes encaptured in winter's embrace, I become involved with two lost boys, Wirt and Greg. It must be fate, for it is this encounter that leads me to the one who I've been searching for. But as our destinies entwine, I become attached to the one I call Worrywirt. What shall I do when he leaves?

Upon trying to find his way home, Wirt stumbles across a cute neighborhood in a large clearing of the forest with small farms, almost like the villages you'd see in Minecraft. it being late, Wirt and his brother are offered a place to stay overnight by a girl named (y/n) (l/n). But when the beast shows up later, everything clicks together, and Wirt realizes theres something about her that he never thought would be.

It's been almost a year since Greg and Wirt returned home from the Unknown. She, too, was returned to her family and had successfully turned everyone back to humans. It's been almost a year and she hasn't stopped thinking about a certain boy who once wore a red cone on his head. And she was going to do something about it.

This short story is what I thought happened when the woodsman from OTGW arrived in "The Unknown".

Wirt, Greg, Beatrice, and Greg's frog journey through the unknown leads them off trail as they wonder into a decaying kingdom filled with monsters, machines, and malice. Seeing how far they are from the Unknown and from home, they realize that they would need help from a young man with pointed ears and has suffered a slight memory loss. Together, they will journey through the lands of wild kingdom in hopes to restore the peace to Hyrule. The only thing they should be wary of is Calamity Ganon and his monsters, as well as a Beast that hides in the dark shadows in the forest.

Led through the mist by the milk light of the moon All that was lost, is revealed. ------------------------- Hello and welcome to my OTGW rewrite, this is basically the events of the show, rewritten from what I would call Wirt's perspective. I personally have always liked to view the show itself as what Greg remembers, and this writing of the story is a little grittier and a little darker, teens do, after all, tend to see the darker things easier than a kid would. By that extension, most of what I'm writing is fairly true to what happens in the show, with things progressively getting a more different and dark as we go. Chapters are equal to episodes.

This story tells of the two brothers who wandered into the Unknown and made friends, slayed the beast and helped others along the way. The Journey may have come to a brief stop, but it is not yet over. Wirt and Greg are needed in the Unknown to keep peace and help those in need. With their now human friend Beatrice, the two brothers must navigate their way through this once forgotten land as the "Heroes of the Unknown". They will meet new people, face new threats and solve mysteries that lead to a great discovery.

Dipper finds himself stranded in an unfamiliar forest, surrounded by a whole new world of unknowns. Accompanied by Wirt, the two must find a way home. Little do they know, that may be more of a challenge than they realize. ------------------------- ((Hey! This is my first real "fan-fiction" on this account, so I hope you all enjoy!
