The forest had always been your favourite place and for more reasons than just the pretty scenery. Since you were little you could catch glimpses of things not there. Shadows of times past. It had always seemed harmless until it led you into the Unknown and the attention of The Beast.

What if The Beast made another deal with Wirt? A/N After the Last Chapter i always love the thought of what if The Beast made a different deal? Like instead of leaving Greg to die or what so not making Wirt keep the lantern on, he instead made a deal that he won't hurt (or kill) Greg if they both stayed with him (so Wirt didn't really thought about why The Beast was so obsessed with the Lantern). Like he keeps them and make them as if they were his kids! Ya know! Because i always love to think that even though creatures like him are evil and cruel and just beyond ugly, they just want some thing to care for and love or they just don't want to be alone (cuz i think even the darkest people hate being alone xP). Along with that having a scary looking monster like him seems kind of cool x)
