They returned defeated. Raph started putting pressure on everyone, and in the heat of the moment Leo said: "I preferred you when you were KRANG, Raph... at least then I wouldn't have to see you anymore." Raph and his family pushed back against him. Later in the story, Raph decides to sacrifice himself, and Leo follows him to save him in the XBHE dimension. There, they discover that they and two other brothers are the chosen ones of an ancient prophecy passed down through generations. Meanwhile, Donnie betrays them by closing the portal. Fortunately, he eventually comes to his senses. However, Mikey gets possessed by the mysterious alien. He manages to break free from it. Together, they awaken the power of the Hamato Clan from the Turtle Prophecy and defeat the alien. (And they went to eat pizza.)
