Aki is a girl from Japan but has lived her life in America since she escaped that hellhole. That hellhole where they kept people who were special, like her, locked up. She was locked in a room with a boy named Shunsuke Otosaka. A boy she learned to love, back then. But now, she's come back from America, as a person who studies these powers and created a vaccine for people who wanted to keep their powers. During her time living in Japan, she eventually reunites with her long, lost love.

Shunsuke Otosaka, the genius and rather handsome son of the Otosaka. In his life, he's had to let all sort of things go. His best friend, his family and their memories, his freedom to walk about freely, his eyesight and even the woman he fell in love with. Nonetheless, time still ticked forwards, and even when he re-winded, leaping into the past to change what he couldn't while he could, time never stopped and soon it had to tick forward for the rest of time when he went blind. However, she was the constant in his life of backwards and forwards. She never changed and because of her own ability she also never forgot him and the memories they kept remaking. She was his constant. She was his solace, and he was hers. So, why would this happen? Why did she disappear, why didn't she come back to him? Why did they take her away from him? Hadn't they taken enough? He had it, he lost his best friend, now it was time to take back his girl, and no enemy was going to stop him. Unless that enemy is time itself. Hoshinoumi Academy is a school where students with this special ability gather. Like any other academy, this academy also has a student council chaired by Nao Tomori. Tomori and three other student council members, Yuu Otosaka, Jojiro Takajo and Yusa Nishimori, have a special mission of protecting the possessors of abilities by catching other children who are wrong in using their powers and asking them to join Hoshinoumi Academy. From here the search for children with special abilities began.
